Nerdburger is an effective communicator in this video because she give her opinion and she describes the story in such detail. She is straight forward in her opinion and how she compares the three books and each book she compares and contrasts. She is really determined to get opinion to her viewers. She uses pictures and highlights to get her point across. I was not so interested in hearing what she had to say, but since she is describes these books with such emotions, it made it very interesting to watch and listen to what she had to say. The way she introduces the three books is very obvious to me, which one was the book that is not worth reading. I bring this up because out of the three books she introduces one is sucky. She does a front facing view of the book Sweet Tooth and Badgirl Robin coming out of a book shelf which is obviously worth reading, because they were presented in coming out of her collection. The last book She-Hulk is viewed coming out of the toilet. This indicates that clearly that book is the bad one, which makes the audiences want to watch what she has to say about them all, so creative and passionate in describing her opinion, can we say good critic.

Writing is specific to blogging because in blogging you must be well informed in what you are informing to your audience. So Cazz must be well informed to be able to inform the audience. This is good with writing in general because whether if your blogging or making a video like Cazz, about books you become a critic. Maybe you don’t intend to be a critic but when you are giving your opinion you are being a critic in a way. This ties in with blogging, videoing (whatever it’s called) and writing because you must analyzes literature. To analyze literature you must read the writing and understand and comprehend anything and everything that deals with writhing. Which is basically almost everything

My Three Expectation that I have for all my wonderful classmates

·         That all my classmates are respectful in responding to each and every ones blogs, but are entitled to their own opinion (don’t be too harsh)

·         That all my classmates and I will eventually post comments on giving feedback about the blogs and will interact which every one

·         That all my classmate’s will participate so that we will continue to have Fridays Free form class in the morning because I enjoy sleeping in…..

  1. I really share with you how Nerd-Burger makes subjects that people like for example, are not very interested in. I actually did not know what she was talking about, but the way she was expressing herself about the comics made interesting. It actually made me want to check out the comic she was talking about I believe it was "Sweet Tooth" or something like that. The way she got very emotional with the book made me think that it might be a really interesting story to read. Also now that you mentioned it I did not catch up on how she got the "She-Hulk" novel out of the toilet. I was like which book is the bad one, or "sucky" one? But that is very ture she helps us guess, or she pretty much gave us the answer with that ilustration.

  2. Hey this is interesting now; I actually agree with the both of you I also see that Nerd-Burger is very detail but not interested because for me that I haven't read comic books all her expressions were awkward as I didn't understand half of what she was saying. But now because of the way she express her opinion made comic books something I would like to read. For instance "Sweet Tooth" which impacted her life so much, which by the way I don't understand how if it was about half human and half animal, crazy how that was so emotional to her. All the picture slides where weird but yet gave a lot of suspension to the consumers about what she had to said as her opinion of the comic book. And I totally agree with your ending good critic, she gave.

  3. I do agree with you in the fact that it is not necessarily what Nerdburger said, but how she said it. I mean, she was very informative and thorough, but what really kept it interesting is how animated she was and how visually appealing the whole video was. She was excited and emotional about the different comics, as seen in the previously mentioned "Sweet Tooth" comic. As a person who has never really read a comic book before, she still keeps you engaged and definitely makes it interesting. As for the whole her pulling the book out of the toilet, did it make you want to watch even more to see why it was so bad, or did it ruin the surprise of wanting to watch to see which one was the bad one?
